2009: Dr. Kane also received a Leadership Society Award from the Dermatology Foundation.
Dr. Kane received The California Conference for Equality and Justice’s 2009 Humanitarian of the Year Award on May 21, 2009 at the 46th Annual Awards Dinner, along with other distinguished honorees. She was recognized for her advancement of the organization’s mission, her civic contributions, and her life long commitment to humankind. The awards dinner supports the organization’s work to reduce bias, bigotry and prejudice. Long recognized for exceptional work in human relations, CCEJ has built a distinguished record of service breaking down the distance between people and providing thousands of programs to youth, educators, faith leaders, law enforcement, and in neighborhoods as well as the corporate and civic workplace.
1994: Dr. Kane was voted Outstanding Woman Physician of the Year by the Long Beach Medical Association
1996: Dr. Kane named one of LA’s Best Docs in LA Magazine
