Dr. Glassberg has been deeply involved in the field of laser surgery and dermatology applications since 1984 and is one of the pioneers of laser practices in dermotology and a recognized leader and expert in the field. He has published seventeen research articles in major medical journals with regards to the use and development of laser technologies and treatments. Dr. Glassberg has also published four chapters in major dermatology textbooks with regards to use of lasers in medicine and dermatology. He is also a fellowship trained MOHS micrographic surgeon with extensive training in skin cancer surgery and reconstructive surgery through the UCLA School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of MOHS Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
Dr. Glassberg is a native of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at UCLA with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, and attended USC School of Medicine. Subsequently, he did post-graduate training in dermatology and skin cancer surgery through UCLA and its affiliated hospitals. Dr. Glassberg is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He currently continues to teach at Harbor UCLA Hospital and is a clinical assistant professor of medicine/dermatology at the UCLA School of Medicine.
Along with Dr. Bryna Kane, Dr. Glassberg is a co-founder of the Erase the Past program for tattoo removal for former gang members who wish to reenter society, return to school and obtain jobs. Aside from his interests in surgical, laser and general dermatology Dr. Glassberg is well versed in all aspects of cosmetic dermatology procedures. He has over fifteen years of clinical practice.
Dr. Glassberg lives in Playa del Rey with his wife and kids.
